Today is Holy Thursday. In the Catholic world (also for other Christian denominations) this means a day when we celebrate the institution of the Holy Eucharist by Jesus in the Last Supper and the time we prepare to follow Jesus in His crucifixion and then ascension. I just arrived from a Eucharistic Celebration and during the Mass, the Priest in symbolic gesture, did the washing of the feet to some Parishioners. It was just an amazing sight, a moving thing. It come straight to my senses that the Holy Eucharist is much more than what I thought of it, its really life giving and sharing one's life to one's neighbor. In our world where we have become selfish (I have to admit this) and unloving, the Eucharist gives another way. A way to a full life and a better joy! A life together with Jesus, not as much as He is a God and we are His creation, but because He loves us more than we can ever dream of!!
I find this video very wonderful, its like the story of the Eucharist love to us... let's pray for Eliot! :)
